Founder and skin cancer survivor, Sherry, has spent the past 16 years making sure cancer patients across the state of SC get the post-surgical care they deserve.  She leads us with her passion for advocating for our ladies to be able to receive customized breast prostheses. Sherry serves as the Past Chair of the Alala Cancer Society, advocates for our patients, and is very passionate about small-town living and farming and showing others they can do it too!

For 15 years, Lisa’s caring and compassionate approach with a zest of humor make the patients feel at ease from their first fitting at Alala.  Lisa’s main goal is to help patients feel heard and important while they are with her.  She is great at finding resources that they need to ease them in their cancer journey.  If Lisa is not at Alala, you might find her at the beach spending time with her family and friends or hunting for the perfect treasure at a thrift store.

Jackie hails from Sumter, South Carolina, and works as Alala's Office Manager. She not only tries to keep the Alala team organized but also manages logistics, shipping/receiving, and the supply chain. If you have ever received a package from Alala, Jackie has used her mastectomy training and compassion to rush your items to you as soon as possible. Jackie serves as our in-house chef, as well, and caters to all birthday meals and event menus.

Felicia is our Billing Supervisor at Alala.  She comes to Alala with a strong health care background including certified nursing assistant, medical coding/billing and more. She’s found her perfect home as Alala’s billing specialist getting bills processed and paid. During her off time, Felicia is a patient sitter and volunteers at her local church.

A true advocate for “Peace of Mind and Happiness!!Tiara is passionate about value-based leadership and world-class company cultures.  She accomplishes this by helping people and utilizing effective communication. She develops both of those areas by focusing her time on supporting her team and building Alala's transparent culture! Her diverse work background, along with an impressive toolbox of creative skills, and her unique ability to solve problems have proven a great success.  She is constantly pushing for us all to be our absolute best!

Emily Norris plays a key role at Alala, skillfully handling accounts receivable and operations. Her expertise extends beyond day-to-day management; she is locally certified as a mastectomy fitter, showcasing her dedication and skill in this specialized area. Outside of her professional life, Emily has a passion for the outdoors. She finds joy in horseback riding and spending time with animals, embracing the tranquility of nature.

In addition, Emily is a devoted mother to her son, who shares a glimpse of her world at Alala. He is often seen at the office, working alongside his mom and learning the ropes of number crunching. This mother-son duo adds a unique and heartwarming dynamic to the workplace.

In addition to greeting everyone with her warm smile and easy manner, Raven is Alala’s compliance and process queen. She also coordinates phone orders and follows up on patient needs with phone calls, heart-felt cards, emails, or letters of encouragement on behalf of Alala. When not at her desk, Raven practices archery and stars in local films. She is a published author on Amazon, having co-written the trilogy, Black Rain, with her co-author, Eli. Raven is locally trained as a mastectomy fitter and is always happy to help.

Casidee Gouge, a proud mother of two daughters, embodies the spirit of warmth and care in her everyday life. Her eldest daughter is currently exploring the new chapters of college, while her youngest is making the most of her senior year in high school. Casidee's roots in caregiving highlight her compassionate and nurturing character, further complemented by her profound love for animals.

At Alala, Casidee is often the first face you'll see, radiating a welcoming glow that instantly makes you feel at ease. Her bright smile and fun-loving attitude are not just a breath of fresh air but also an embodiment of the inviting atmosphere Alala is known for. She has earned a special place in the hearts of many clients, who affectionately refer to her as their "sweet Angel," a name that beautifully captures her kind and caring essence.

Tara combines a compassionate heart with a deep understanding of the impact of breast cancer. Her mission is to empower breast cancer warriors with hope, resilience, and a sense of unity in their fight against this disease. With a strong dedication to positively impacting the lives of those affected by breast cancer, Tara inspires others to join the cause. Born and raised in South Carolina, she carries her parents' values of hard work, resilience, and community. Tara is a firm believer in giving back and actively volunteers her time. Outside of work, she cherishes moments with friends, family, and her four-legged fur baby, Chloe.
